The Extrema Ratio BD1 R is a new pocket knife with a lightweight blade. It features a very slim profile with a focus on lightness, but without sacrificing the strength and reliability of the regular Extrema Ratio model, as well as a black anodized Anticorodal handle. A modified spearhead, satin blade is made from Bohler N690 steel, hardened to 58 HRC, 70mm long, 2.5mm thick, with a simple sharpening and artificial edge on the first third of the back. The blade uses the usual Razor blade extraction method, making it easy to use with either hand. A simple but strong linear lock system keeps the blade open. A double-sided clip with lighting holes helps keep the weight of the knife to a minimum. Milled notches in the handle help ensure a firm grip on the knife and make it easier to transfer the knife from one hand to another. With an overall length of 170mm and a weight of just 75g, the Extrema Ratio BD1 R is an extremely light and slim knife, making the spear point pocket knife an ideal choice for EDC.
