The MP4 vintage gas mask is a protective device designed to protect the wearer from harmful gases, chemicals and other hazardous substances. The masks are named according to the standard military marking of the mask: "Mask, protective, outdoor, M-4". The MP4 gas mask consists of a rubber full face mask and replaceable filters that can be attached to the mask. Filters are designed to remove certain types of contaminants from the air, such as particulates, gases, or vapors. MP4 gas masks were originally developed for military use, but are now also used by civilians when respiratory protection is necessary, such as in the event of a chemical spill or biological outbreak. Although MP4 gas masks can provide effective protection against many hazardous materials, it is important to use them correctly and ensure that the filters are properly fitted and easily replaced if necessary.

New (Surplus)

Our condition standards classify "New (Surplus)" as items that have been issued to military personnel but have not been used.

Militaries of many countries issue basic and spare military equipment to their personnel so that soldiers can easily replace damaged or lost equipment during missions.

Since the military replaces/updates issued equipment periodically, every 2-4 years depending on the country, in some cases spare personnel equipment returns to military warehouses unused, but no longer used due to the high standards of the military.
