Original Vintage French Army Summer Field Cap F1 is a headgear worn by soldiers of the French Armed Forces during the warm season. It is usually made from lightweight and breathable materials and features a CCE (Camouflage Ceinturon et Equipements) camouflage pattern that is designed to blend into a variety of environments including forest, semi-desert and city. The hat has a peak to protect the eyes from the sun and a headband to keep the hat firmly on the head when moving. This hat is a vintage item, so the design and color depends on the period it was released.

Our condition standards classify "New (Surplus)" as items that have been issued to military personnel but have not been used.

Militaries of many countries issue basic and spare military equipment to their personnel so that soldiers can easily replace damaged or lost equipment during missions.

Since the military replaces/updates issued equipment periodically, every 2-4 years depending on the country, in some cases spare personnel equipment returns to military warehouses unused, but no longer used due to the high standards of the military.
