The original German Military Boonie Hat is a headgear worn by soldiers of the German armed forces, especially in tropical and hot weather conditions. It's adorned with a speckled print pattern to blend in with any environment. The hat has a wide brim to protect from the sun and vents to keep your head cool. It also has a chin strap to keep the hat firmly on your head when you're on the move. Made of durable and lightweight materials, the cap is designed to be worn with other flecktran camouflage combat gear.

Our condition standards classify "New (Surplus)" as items that have been issued to military personnel but have not been used.

Militaries of many countries issue basic and spare military equipment to their personnel so that soldiers can easily replace damaged or lost equipment during missions.

Since the military replaces/updates issued equipment periodically, every 2-4 years depending on the country, in some cases spare personnel equipment returns to military warehouses unused, but no longer used due to the high standards of the military.
